You need a permit from the Punting and River Club to use the punts and/or canoes. Send us your application using the form below.

The permit is chargeable on battels at a rate of £50.00 (inc VAT), with a reduced rate of £30.00 for graduate students. Permits from 1st September until the end of the season are charged at £10 for graduates and £20 for others.
Please note that your application is moderated during office hours only and may take up to 24hrs. Your access will not be granted immediately. Applications received after 14:00 on Friday will not be processed until the following Monday.

I undertake to bear the cost of making good any loss of, or damage to, any equipment for which I am responsible. This will be up to £500 for loss of, or damage to, a punt or canoe and up to £100 for loss of, or damage to, poles and other accessories or equipment, including keys. (If someone involved in an accident should claim that s/he was not at fault, the Social and Cultural Committee will listen to the case and determine who should bear the costs.)
